Help us save more pets in 2024In October 2024, Gem City Kitties will have to refinance our mortgage on Gem City Vet. Our interest rate will increase to the market rate, which will in turn increase our monthly mortgage payments. We estimate that the interest alone would cost us around $50,000 over the life of the loan. That's a lot of money lost instead of spent helping pets in our community.
Instead, we'd like to pay off the mortgage - and that's where you can make an enormous difference! We seek to raise $80,000 to pay off the mortgage in full, freeing us up from a monthly payment entirely. $50,000 could be much better spent helping us: • Continue to offer low-cost wellness care keep pets from suffering or dying from preventable diseases • Educate pet owners about the importance of spaying and neutering and connecting them with resources in our area • Keep wanted pets healthy and in their homes, instead of shelters Can you help us raise $80,000 so we can pay off the mortgage and focus on creating a more compassionate community for cats (and now dogs!) in Dayton, OH? |
