Fostering Saves Lives!
The cats living at Gem City Catfé are ready to be adopted. We need foster homes for several reasons and happily accept foster families with all skill levels! Mainly, it gives us a greater capacity to transfer cats from our shelter partners when they need help, in some cases saving the lives of cats who would otherwise be killed for space.
Other times, we need areas for cats that need time to recover from illness, receive a medical treatment, or adjust from a new situation. Read below to find out if this would be a good fit for you and for information on how to apply. Cats in our program are typically fully vetted, so our fostering will be short term time limits averaging a week or two.
We are always in need of fosters with medical experience to help when medical emergencies arise!

What We Do
Our Feline Facilitator will schedule all appointments and order any medication necessary from the pharmacy.
